The arrival of a newborn is an incredibly special and fleeting time, filled with tiny details, delicate features, and overwhelming love. My in-home newborn photo sessions are thoughtfully designed to capture these precious first days in the comfort and familiarity of your home, ensuring a relaxed and intimate experience for your family.
As I work with Sweet Me Photography from my newborn sessions, I specialize in bringing the studio experience directly to you. While Sweet Me Photography handles the booking, scheduling, and expert editing of your beautiful images, I personally come to your home in Westchester County, Southern Connecticut and surrounding areas, to gently pose and photograph your newest member. This seamless collaboration ensures that you receive high quality newborn portraits without ever having to leave your sanctuary. I am here to freeze these incredible early moments into timeless memories you will cherish forever.
what to Expect

Booking is done through Sweet Me Photography- https://sweetmephotography.com, submit an inquiry form and ask for ME, Gabriela Glavan, so I can photograph your session. The best time for newborn portraits is between 5 and 14 days old, so make sure to pre-book your session. If your baby arrives early or late, the date can be adjusted. I will give you a call 3 days before your session to discuss style preferences, color choices, and any specific requests.

To get our best chance at a sleepy baby, we recommend 3 things:
Warming the Room: Keeping the room about 76 degrees Fahrenheit helps keep your baby cozy and sleepy.
Feeding Schedule: Try to plan to feed baby for when I arrive, so your baby is content and ready to sleep during the photoshoot.
Keep Baby Awake: If possible, try to keep your baby awake for a period before feeding to ensure they’re tired enough to sleep soundly.
Ultimately, try your best, but we all know the baby is the real Boss!

I will arrive to your home with a complete portable newborn studio. This includes:
All Props & Accessories: A wide variety of backdrops, blankets, wraps, hats, headbands, and stuffies will be brought, allowing you to choose your favorite colors and styles for a personalized session. If you have any special outfits or keepsakes, I'll do my best to incorporate them.
Safety & Comfort First: Your baby's health, safety, and comfort are our top priority. All props and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. I am trained in baby safety and gentle handling, ensuring your little one is always secure and comfortable.
Session Flow: Sessions typically last several hours to allow for plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing your baby. I'll capture a variety of posed images of your newborn, utilizing different backgrounds and props.
Family & Sibling Photos: Sweet Me Photography packages include the option for parent and sibling photos. I carry a studio backdrop for a more formal look.
Assistance: You may be asked to assist by holding your baby at certain times or helping to soothe them, ensuring a collaborative and comfortable experience.

Once the photoshoot is complete, the images are sent to Sweet Me Photography for their expert curation and professional retouching. Within approximately 8 days of your session, you will receive a private online gallery where you can view and select your favorite images. Upgrade options are available if you wish to purchase additional images. Within 8 days from your selection, the editing team will send you a final gallery for you to download and share your high-resolution digital images.
